Those look pretty good. A rep or two may have been high, but overall solid.
Well hello coaches I'm back annoying you again :P
I've decided the only way I was going to fix my squat was to reduce it to a weight where I wasn't losing control:

Is this, by any chance, any better?

please excuse my informal tone, it is very late and sleep is a-comin'
Those look pretty good. A rep or two may have been high, but overall solid.
Thanks Tom, nice to hear finally
How'd your meet go?
Actually before I forget: I filmed this set at 90kg a few days after the video above:

Then I did one of these bar path things:

The line looks a bit dodgy to me. Is this something I should be worried about Tom? Or is it just another gimmicky app?
Based on what you've said above these look a bit high too - I'll work on that.
thanks as always!
Wow great photo!
Is that you OHPing?
And I spot a sneaky Alan Thrall in the corner there.
Very nice !
Get your knees forward earlier and your bar path should straighten out. The problem with bar tracking apps is that they assume that a three dimensional world can be accurately represented in two dimensions. Alas, the physics of optics and wide angle lenses render this assumption problematic at best. Bar path tracings can be useful, but they are not infallible, either.
Hey Tom hope you're well.
So my PR for 5 is 133 kg. I haven't got close to that weight until today.
I've been slowly getting the weight back up, and this was what I did today: Untitled on Vimeo
I was looking back at this set and it's funny how now I can see how wrong they are: video-1458165029 on Vimeo
Anyway do you think I'm right to keep going up?
I know they aren't perfect yet but I'm happy from where I've come in 6 months since November (when I started posting videos).
