Besides the fact that I am way high what other pointers can you give about my squats? 48 years old, worked out all my life from high school with differing methods but am going through the linear progression without power cleans to see what I can accomplishe before I turn 50.

Do not believe Kelly Starrett when he tells you to point your toes almost straight ahead. I know Kelly and like him, but he is wrong about this. Point your toes out more (30 degrees or so) and drive your knees out more. This will drop you 3 inches lower and get you your depth. Stop arching the hell out of your back. Think: chest down, drive your butt up.

Thanks Tom I will try that. I don't feel like I'm arching my back but I'm not tight in front, zipped up as someone says. Could that make my back seem too arched?

You cannot overextend the spine without elongating the abdominals.

You are still overextending on the way down, although I have seen worse. Get your knees forward early. Stop arching your back as you descend. Go deeper.
