Hey SS coaches, here is my set of pulls on intensity day, how do they look? I noticed that my back isn't really in full extension. I think it may be because my hips are a bit too high in the starting position, but I'm not 100% sure, anything else you notice in particular that needs fixing?

You are back on your heels a little too much. Stay in the middle of your foot. You are not doing a good job of holding your back in extension and your pelvis tucks under as soon as you start to pull. You need to work to contract your erectors to prevent this. Also, pull in weightlifting shoes.

Ok, I'll work on those things. I'll probably post a follow up video on Saturday when I do my intensity day pulls. Thanks Tom.

Hey Tom, here's a set of five at 380. Really tried staying over the mid-foot and pushing it into the ground, as well as contracting my erectors and getting my back into better extension. Also pulled in weightlifting shoes, how do they look?

Your setup looks pretty good, but your first move as the weight comes off the ground is to allow your hips to tuck under and round your back. Really work hard to hold your back in extension off the floor. What does 335 for 5 look like? Can you hold flat there?

Probably, I'll upload another video Saturday and see how it goes.

Better, but still not awesome. Drop your butt a touch, only a touch, at the start and arch your back harder. Then, instead of letting go and allowing your pelvis to tuck under, fight like a motherfucker to hold your low back in extension. Where do you live?

Alas, we don't have anyone nearby. This could probably be more effectively cued and potentially quickly corrected by a coach in person.
