    It's all Ann's fault or her daughter's.

    531 week 2

    Press: 45 x 5; 85 x 3; 95 x 1; 105 x 2; 105 x 3; 95 x 3; 85 x 3
    Dead: 135 x 5; 185 x 3; 235 x 1; 267.5 x 1; 302.5 x 3; 267.5 x 3; 235 x 3

Going up to the top weight for the day without excessive repetitions and then back down seems to work quite well.

Carson its good to see your back lifting after the surgery.
I also noticed that lower volume works for me to, for a while, I hope. I usually do fives only as backoff at the moment. Its easyier to recover from and seems to keep progression going. For worksets I do 1-3 reps in about 5 sets.

After Monday it will be a bit sporadic. I will be training but not necessarily twice a week for the next 3 weeks. My wife and I will be celebrating our 50th during that time. It's satisfying that we have learned to stick with a very productive life together for most of our lives.

I'm very grateful that we are still both alive. She nearly died 4 year ago. We are doubly grateful that we are both relatively healthy.

Chris and I had a great deal of fun meeting the lifters and especially Eric and the Westminster gym. Ed O'Neil asked me to say "hi" to Sully. Sully's visit a few months ago was very much appreciated.
