    Bench
    230x4 (rep PR@230) huh?
    230x5 (rep PR@230) wait what?
    210x3
    205x3
Was going to do more backoff volume but the elbow aids flared up with a vengence.

I am surprised @ the bench prs. It has been at least two weeks since I benched last. (4/8 to be exact) And last time I was only able to do two grindy triples. Decided not to go up to 235 this session due to the mini bench layoff. Next time will do 235.

    Curls
    70x12
    60x2x12

Need to do curls every workout no exceptions. I think it is the only way to keep my elbows mostly pain free.

    Press
    135x5
    150x0x2
    140x2
    115x5

    Deadlift
    335 2x3

    Notes:
Press strength has not really gone down. Surprising since I have not done it in about a month I think. Perhaps the fact that my bench is progressing is the reason.

Deadlifts felt easy. I decided to do them in my powerlift 2s instead of my shitty chuck Taylor knock offs. Changing shoes is sort of irritating. I think if I can have a good tight set up the heel won't bother me too much. I would like to get some Deadlift slippers. First rep my set up was off and I felt my lumbar round but I think I fixed it on the rest of my reps.

I feel like 335 is a good number to start progressing my Deadlift from. I will add in more volume in the form of back off sets at some point.

    Changing shoes irritates me too.

    Deadlift in your squat shoes.

    I believe in you.

Almost in all time PR territory on squat and bench. Feels good but kind of scary at the same time. Weird. Squat gives me anxiety more than other lifts. If wanted to get really precise I guess all my squats as of late have been high bar PRs but im not going to get that silly just yet.

    Squat
    335x3@10 (rep PR@ 335)
    315x3
    300x3
    275x3
    275x3

    Curls 70x2x12

I don't think I have ever had a grinder like the last rep on my top set. Probably took 5-6 seconds to stand up with it. I got stuck 3 inches out of the hole and actually had time to contemplate dumping the bar or not. That set kind of gassed me and everything else felt heavy. I suspect I am going to have to up my squat volume soon.
The PR felt good to get though. Only ever done 335 for a double before. I was feeling depressed and shitty before the gym. Almost bitched out of going. Kept trying to talk mysef out of going. Glad I did not.

    Bench
    235x5 rep PR@ 235
    235x4
    225x5
    205x6
    205x4 reps 3-4 paused
    195x5

    Deadlift
    345x3
    365x3

The low frequency lowish reps per week bench stuff im doing shouldn't be working....but it is. Not sure why but I will take it. Im not going to fuck up a good thing. Im only going to add volume and frequency when I have to.

Deadlifts felt really strong considering I have not been consistently training them. 365x3 is only 10lb off from my best set of 3. I think I could have pulled 405 today. If I can commit to putting the work on my deadlifts consistently I know I can get to 440 and beyond this time. 500 is definetly a realistic goal in 6-8 months. We will see. I made it to 430 kind of halfassing it so I don't see why I can't get 500 with dedicated training.

    Bench
240x2-3 stupid spotter touched bar with fingers for "moral support". "It was all you bro" So 2 clean reps I can count. Rep PR @240
    240x3 rep PR @240
    230x4
    225x5
    205x5 no belt
    205x5 no belt

    Curls
    70x3x12

It amazes me that even after clear instructions that motherfuckers still steal reps. Jesus fuck. I should have known better when he just offered to spot me out of the blue. Nice enough guy but I don't want him to spot me anymore. Those guys are always suspect. I guess I just gotta be a dick.

    Anyways session went good otherwise.
Was hoping to get a set if five @ 240 but I will take the 2 triples. Still rep prs anyways and im only 10 lbs away from my all time best bench single except im hitting it for reps which is cool.
