yeah,
so you blow yourself out with deads and the squats,
and the body says Light Day
ya might be maturing as a lifter

Well, I only have myself to blame. I wasted a lot of time these past six months not training. I shouldn't be surprised when my body resists me a little when I expect it to have retained more strength. It's just frustrating to think I haven't made any progress/feel like I've regressed.
But passed the novice stage, making sure your stress and recovery are in balance becomes more confusing, so yeah, I don't think it ever goes away!
nice deads! woohoo! Looks like that 3 plate special will be served well before Easter!
Well, turns out I have an upper respiratory infection. Don't think I should train through this.
Is it a thing that when you're putting the most stress on your body workout-wise, that you're most likely to get sick?
What do you guys do to prevent this stuff????
I do think that it can be a problem, but probably under pretty severe circumstances that I don't think apply to you. Sometimes we just get sick and it sucks. You'll get it back if you work at it. I find it important to remind myself that it doesn't really matter where I think I "should" be, it just matters where I am and where I'm going right now. Plus, a big reason big lifts are so impressive is because they are so rare and hard to attain. Keeping the momentum plays a part in that difficulty. You have a lot to be proud of in here, regardless.
