OHP: (dynamic day) 145x3x5. Two minute rests between sets.

Bench press: Supposed to be a day of heavy singles culminating at 270 pounds. At 245 pounds my thumb on the right hand bent downward/backwards causing me to snap both wrist back to compensate. Don't know what planet I was orbiting when this happened but I was done for the day.

    Deadlifts: 260x3x1

Squats: (dynamic day) 245x3x5. Two minute rests between all five sets.

Hands still sore from the other day. Deadlifts were supposed to be sets of five but was just lethargic all morning. However, did set a dynamic PR set in the squats. All was not lost.

I did read the trap bar article you linked too, it seems it could be a useful complement to the normal bar lifting. Or used as a cardio device. Hmmm ....

Sorry to hear about your hands, hope that heals up real fast. And good to hear you didn't let go of the bar!

Don't know if Andy Baker uses the exercise for the BB Club but if you have access to the bar give it a try for a cycle or two.

I don't have a bar like that at home, and the cost is just a little more than I am willing to spend. But I see that it is useful.
