Squats were solid. OHP was grindy as usual. PC was interesting. I may just do chins/back extensions instead. I'll give that some more thought.

I'm doing chins in place of cleans... always liked them....will start doing weighted chins again when BW numbers get up there a bit again

Squats were solid. It's gratifying to use a warmup weight that was a working set weight just a couple of weeks ago. First and third sets of BP were good - my form was terrible in the second.

My recovery is garbage, so I'm moving to two nights a week - Wed/Sat. Wed will be SQ and BP. Sat will be SQ, OHP, and DL.

Squats were solid. I recorded my work sets to review my depth. I'm going for convincing depth, which I got for the most part. One was iffy and one was too deep and I lost tightness, but the rest were good. OHP wasn't bad, but the app didn't increment it, so I did the same weight as last time. It's done this to me before. All well. DL was smooth. I really practiced dragging the bar up my legs. I held the last rep up as long as I could to work on my grip.

Had a massage this morning and asked for IT band release. Pretty painful stuff. I'll probably request if from now on.

Starting again after a long winter break.

So good to be back. I haven't lost much progress, either. I couldn't say the same thing about cardio. I'd have to start all the over at the beginning. Will be back on Saturday to see what happened to my deads.

SQ and DL went great - it's like I've done these weights before. I'm holding the last rep of DL for as long as I can to strengthen my grip. I missed 90 lb in OHP on the last rep of the last set. Went down 5 lb and got it. I bet if I had worn my belt that I would have had it. Will do 90 lb again next Sat and nail it.

My wife joined me again this time. Our youngest is now sleeping on his own in a crib. I'm glad that we can get stronger together.

Will follow Niki's Chin-Up Training Phase II from now on. Wife worked out as well and added weight to all of her lifts. I won't be back until May 13 or 17. I will encourage the wife to continue without me, though.

Man this workout was a tough one. My head wasn't in it and I felt weak, but I made it. My last squat was ugly and my last bench was a grind, but I got them up.

Also, I'm continuing to loose weight. Ugh. I think it's partly do to cutting out soda of my diet starting in late April, so I'm done by 250-500 calories a day, usually. I'm going to have to eat more.
