This log has caught up to real time now. Here is today's workout. I felt relatively strong today and everything felt pretty easy except the last 2 reps on deadlift. I guess two recovery days on the weekend and sleeping in helped quite a bit.

    Squat: 45x5, 95x5, 135x3, 175x2, 195x1
    200x5x3

    Bench: 45x5, 65x5, 85x3, 105x2, 125x1
    127.5x5x3

    Deadlift: 95x5, 135x5, 165x3, 195x1
    215x5

My first pair of weightlifting shoes should be here tomorrow so I'm very curious to see what it feels like to squat in those. I have really long legs so I'm hoping with the elevated heel they help a bit hitting full depth.

First workout with proper weightlifting shoes (Romaleos 3). I really like them and can see that they will be a huge improvement, but they threw my squat form off just enough to make it feel a little harder than it should have been otherwise. When I was in the right position in the bottom and didn't lift my chest on the way up the weight felt easy. The other thing that threw me is that it was harder to wiggle my feet into the exact right position before starting. Other than that I'm feeling relatively strong and things are progressing as planned.

    Squat: 45x5, 95x5, 135x3, 175x2, 195x1
    205x5x3

    Overhead Press: 45x5, 65x5, 75x3, 85x2
    97.5x5x3

    Pendlay Rows: 45x5, 65x5
    80x8x3

Overall felt really good today. I'm working on some squat form issues so I recorded my first squat set. I'm focusing on stance, knees out cue, and hip drive. As a result I can see that I didn't hit full depth on these. I think I did ok with the knees and hips on the first two reps, and it got wonky after that. It's a work in progress for sure.

    Squat: 45x5, 95x5, 135x3, 175x2, 195x1
    210x5x3

    Bench: 45x5, 65x5, 85x3, 105x2, 125x1
    130x5x3

    Deadlift: 95x5, 135x5, 165x3, 195x1
    225x5x1

Felt a little weak today after a long weekend, but I hit all my reps. It was my hardest deadlift workout ever, and my grip almost failed. I'll go down to 5 pound jumps there for as long as I can. I'm within 2-3 weeks of all time PRs on my lifts at this rate.

    Squat: 45x5, 95x5, 135x3, 175x2, 205x1
    215x5x3

    Standing Press: 45x5, 65x5, 75x3, 85x2
    100x5x3

    Deadlift: 135x5, 165x5, 195x3, 225x1
    235x5x1

I felt strong today and the workout felt easy. Squat form continues to get better and that seems to be making a big difference.

    Squat: 45x5, 95x5, 135x3, 175x2, 205x1
    220x5x3

    Bench: 45x5, 75x5, 95x3, 115x2, 125x1
    132.5x5x3

    Pendlay Rows: 45x5, 65x5
    82.5x8x3
