    Default Bad deadlifts

    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    I'm afraid of increasing the weight next session. I felt pretty close to fucking my spine up completely. What do I do wrong?

    You're rushing the setup and not lifting your chest/setting your back enough.

    Squeeze it off the floor don't yank it.

    Love the determination though.

    Here is one of my previous deadlift sessions. From this angle it looks kinda good to me. Is it just the angle or did I have a better form here.

    think about the plates being glued to the floor, and just try to bend the bar away from the floor by pushing and pulling. Since it isn't going to move (until it does! Surprise!) there is no hurry. That helped me for some reason.
