Do you not have a training log?
I need to think of a cool name for my cycle. I use to do a log, but I have really just been sticking to my trusty notebook. I'll try to restart that beast up.

The Super Sumo Deadlift Cycle will be hard to top. I just laid out my plan, it has me going for a new max on June 17th.

Care to share that plan with an old friend?

Not in public, it's top secret stuff. If you want to try the same cycle, pm me your current max and I'll work it up for.
You have to choose your own assistance work though, only you know your own weaknesses.

Didn't read the whole thread but you're trying to pull yourself over the top of the bar instead of finishing with your hips.

Stop leaning back to the finish the pull. Lock the knees a bit earlier than you would conventional and bring your hips to the bar to finish the pull. No need to exaggerate the shoulders back, head back, hyperextending lumbar position at the top.

The Sumo Master has arrived. Have you done a video on Sumo Technique yet Tom? If not, you should.

Any tips or cues would be greatly appreciated!

seems like your left arm does kinda an arm pull thing when the bar is around your knee.

starts off straight, then bends, then straightens

it IS your supinated arm tho??? so maybe concern ???

have no idea if this is bad or not

    otherwise, nice lifts

Yeah, I noticed that as well, its like I'm trying to curl it but I don't notice it when I do it. Gotta keep an eye on that.

Worked sumos again last night for 295X15X1. Used double overhand and toward the end my grip started to weaken so I switched to straps. Still trying to find my hips in this movement, in some sets I was too high I feel and too lower in others. Tried to use my hips more while eliminating the exaggerated lean back at the top. Anyways take a look and let me know what you see.
