Checking in for a 3rd squat form check. So far the main things that I've been told to work on are:

    • Actually doing a low bar squat (I've been doing high)
    • Bracing my core
    • Keeping my heels planted

You can find my previous threads here and here.

I apologize for the vertical video.

The bar still looks high to me brotha.
You're resisting the horizontal back angle and still basically doing a high bar squat. Nips at the floor and shove your ass back more. We need to getya to use some more hip drahve. And squat shoes. But we can worry about that later.

Yeah, I guess this is really just me trying to break years of bad habit that I've been taught by high school football coaches and the like. I felt like the bar was more on my rear delts, but maybe not. I'll keep working on this.

Squat shoes are on my list to buy.

Yep, the bar is too high, you are too upright, your arms and wrists are under the bar as opposed to pinning it to your back, you knees are going too far forward. You may want to set the bar one peg lower in the rack - it will help get the bar on your back better.
