    Well while you boys were pissing on the horse you beat to death, this geezelle just pulled 215x3x3. DOH, hooked and chalked.
    My two cents is to do some hooking and to grow a pair. . . . no, not balls, you already got those. What you need is pair of beefy callouses on your thumbs. Callouses are much more durable, useful and harder to kill than balls. I started out hooking all my DL but when they started getting heavy (to me) I switched to just hooking the last warm up and all work sets.
    Hooking helps to get the load off your finesse fingers (index and bird) and onto your strength fingers (thumb and phalanges #4 & #5).
    And do your chin ups.
