Skiing is a fun way to get injured.

Went skiing at Whistler BC this past week. It was a great four days of skiing and wiped out a couple of times with each time just popping back up unlike 2 years ago. A couple of times I almost wiped out on the icy parts but managed to recover. When I thought about it I wouldn't have been able to do that two years ago. But my overall strength, balance and even core strength is so much greater I was simply able to right myself at speed. Ya gotta love strength.

I've been snowboarding every Saturday for the last 4 or 5 weeks. My legs don't last long after Intensity Day on Friday. I'm good for about 3 hours of downhilling, so I take lots of Breaks. I've taken 2 falls that I felt impressed to walk away from with little more than a sore neck.
