Welcome Sal! We sure need more geezers checking in. Why not boot the remaining kids, commandeer the open bedroom, and set up there? I originally set up in my
garage until I proved to my wife I was serious. Now I have year-round comfort, except for the weight increases! Recently recruited her to lifting as well. No small accomplishment there!

Is 46 officially a geezer? Anyhow welcome. SS has saved my life IMO.. I was in the diabetic death spiral... last Dr appointment, numbers borderline normal except Triglycerides were marginally high.

Welcome Sal: i may as well chime in too, at 57 1/2 and getting back into the weights after a year off, slowly making progress on SSLP since late Feb, but i think i was too aggressive with my starting weight as my deadlift failed yesterday as i could only get 3 reps @285, squats are progressing as well as bench and press but my back is fatigued after squats and my deadlift is the shits,a reset is in order, was thinking of only doing deads once a weak instead of 3 times.. my bodyweight went from 230 mid feb. to 239 yesterday so calories aren't my problem..
