Yeah man, wear it higher on deads. 5'11" 240ish. I wear mine higher on deads a little lower on squats, probably one hole tighter on my work sets for squats

Recently started using a belt for deadlifts. It is worn higher for the deadlift because of just what you are experiencing.

Can't do shirtless deadlifts whilst wearing two shirts.

I thought only Jordan was allowed to go shirtless.

    You should consult a doctor.

Well yeah, if your waist has increased in size, it's probably a good idea to open your belt up a hole or two from where it used to be... unless I'm misunderstanding you and you've already done this.

Am I the only one doing beltless because of the issues mentioned? Outside singles, I just can't get into good positions for every rep of a set since it's just so much more effort to re-set my back for every rep with a belt on. Haven't bought a less wide belt, cause procrastination.

I do dead with it a belt because it pulls me out of extension and doesn't really add anything at all besides ruining my form.
I know I'm probably doing something wrong but it's not worth the effort for now.
