I've got more of less permanent marks near each scapula, row on both shins where hair has given up growing, and bite marks from the lever belt on my obliques. I refer to them an the markings of a member of the Rusty Iron Gang.

I'm going with that as I've noticed a similar thing. My delicate skin isn't used to it yet.

To an extent, yes. But the marking never entirely goes away. You can minimize it by keeping the bar locked in place and not letting it slip around. You should be trying to do that anyway, but it's obviously easier said than done. So if I'm seeing more marking on my back than normal, I'll make an extra effort to keep the bar in one place.

I definitely get this worst with high bar and shitty bars that move around.

I also get belt marks. The wife finds themconcerning.
