Worked sumo's last night up to 315x5 and all the way up to 425x1. The morning after...I feel like I didn't even do deads last night, no soreness or tightness that's usually associated with waking up the morning after. I've been doing them here and there for kicks, but I haven't ever dedicated an entire session to doing it until last night. I know a lot of great lifters like Dan Greene talk about the benefits of doing both styles so I think I may start to incorporate them in to my routine fully in the coming weeks. Don't judge me!!!

I felt dirty even saying it out loud, but it was something that I needed to admit.

Lol. Screw the haters, the greatest of all time pulled Sumo. He switched to conventional later in his career because of hip issues.

Why apologize? If you want to pull sumo, pull sumo. Just because it isn't the trendy thing to do around here should not deter you.

Oh definitely not apologizing for it, its just playfulness. I think its a great tool to have in the bag to use for training.

I wonder if sumo causes hip issues for some people? I've tried sumo and it bothers my hips...
