I prefer the knee sleeves to the evolutionize ones. The evolutionize sleeves get uncomfortable after about an hour and start binding up behind the knee. Also, people get SBD gear for powerlifting because of the IPF approved list. YMMV.

Don't the strongmen just use it because they're sponsored by them?

I'd guess that has a lot to do with it also.

I love their knee sleeves, but don't know whether theire other products are worth it. I seem to recall when the knee sleeves came out that they were pretty unique in how much they got out of being sleeves while still being IPF-legal (being maximal size per specs for instance). Not sure whether they are that special anymore...

It's also IPF approved so if you are going to compete it's an easy choice. My Best Belt is IPF approved....but nowhere does it say "Best Belt" . Don't have to convince a judge my SBD belt is legal.

Just name brand stuff. You pay for the name, being on all federations approved gear lists, and because the Brits like thinking there shit is posh.
