Default how to level my platform

as i get more serious and experienced im starting to realize some shit that i fucked up on when i built my home gym. First, all my weights are cheap, used and have slop. second, my rack doesnt allow me to use the pins for pin squats and bench well enough becasue there are too much space between holes. third, i dont have enough money to buy good apparrel like SBD knee sleeves, adipowers, or an SBD belt. fortunatley i purchased a decent barbell before the kids were born so at least i got that (rogue bar 2.0)

Anyways....i can live with all that. However, my platform slopes with the angle of my garage, which im guessing is about 2% grade. ive tried shims, but still sucky. so the bar rolls as i deadlift, and i cant do the proper SS setup.

Anyone with advice on how to level there platforms??????

You can get a pair of dead wedges for about $20 and change. Stops the bar rolling and useful for changing weight.

You can level the floor with self leveling underlayment (what I did, though one corner is no longer level after 2.5 years of deadlifting there).

Rip some long shims like this: Building A Lifting Platform on a Slope by Greg Everett - Equipment - Catalyst Athletics - Olympic Weightlifting

Garage slabs pitch one way; turn your bar 90 degrees. Voila, no roll.

Search online. I found an article a while back for creating a level platform using just wood. I think this would be better than pouring a leveling slab for future resale. I'm sure there are construction methods you could find for this too.

I've honestly seen people just use cardboard under the lower side

I followed these instructions in my garage: Leveling Garage Gym Platform - Album on Imgur

It was very easy, didn't cost much, and the platform is perfectly level. I can't speak to durability as it's only been there six months.
