I have pain just below my left hip bone. I think one of the quad muscles that attach there, but I also have a bruise ( about 2 inches diameter) just outside and below my hip bone. I don't recall bumping that area, so I think they might be related.

Here's the part I have not been able to find from searching. The muscle hurts when I walk and get up from a sitting position, but NOT when I squat. Hurts most when I walk the weight out from the rack.

Had a week of rest when I didn't lift bc of traveling, I was as strong as I was before the week's rest, but it brought the pain back. Taking a few days off taking ibuprofen and will just deload and see what happens, but I wondered if anyone has any insight. I understand the Starr protocol is for muscle injuries, but not for tendons.
