What carbohydrates do you prefer to see in a diet?
At the moment my main sources are oats, potatoes, white bread and white pasta.

I "prefer" seeing oats, rice, potatoes, roots, veggies, and similar un processed foods.

Rice is processed no? Although not as much as grain products - breads and pastas etc.

Rice is processed, the way I meant that was those foods listed, AND unprocessed carbohydrates.
I prefer gluten free, but will readily admit that it likely doesn't matter in terms of aesthetics/weight manipulation as long as the calories are manipulated appropriately. Health and performance-wise? They may make a difference...
