Jordan, I was reading this study on Green Tea:
http://www.altmedrev.com/publications/14/2/154.pdf
I was interested in your opinion on the study, and especially on the effect of green tea on GH, IGF-1, and leptin.
Currently I drink two cups of green tea a day, but was wondering if that is enough to get all of its benefits.
They did the study on hypocaloric individuals, which in and of itself affects GH, IGF-1, leptin, and other variables. They also didn't mention how people reported their calories and any changes in activity. Overall I think the study is weak, at best.
With that said, green tea is good in my opinion, if you can get some with a high enough percentage of EGCG. I don't think it's any "healthier" than coffee and I don't think it'll make a huge difference overall, but legal things usually don't.
