Does Creatine Expire?

I am planning to get back on creatine after a several year layoff. My jar is 2/3 full but says EXP 07/11. Is it still OK? Visually it appears normal and good to go.

It would take a VERY long time for it to degrade in a jar. On the other hand, you can get it for pennies so why not just buy some new mono?
