    Default 173lb x 5 Press check

This was preceded by 85x5, 100x5, 123lbx3, 135lbx5, and 150lbx5, so I was slightly fatigued and thus showed my form weaknesses.

I weigh roughly 200lb and can press 200lb for 1 rep. Apart from my bodyweight, I think my form is limiting the weight I can use. It's been annoying me for a while now.

    Bottom
Bar too far back in hand
Not pushing the hips forward enough - not feeling a stretch in the quads, not feeling the load go to my toes
Abs not tight enough - too much lumbar bend
    No bounce generated

Cues: breathe, tight abs, reach, bounce

    Middle
No horizontal stretch reflex due to the errors above
Not getting under the bar far, hard, or fast enough

I think the cues for the bottom will fix the middle phase.

    Top
Bar not directly vertical over the shoulders
    Traps not shrugged enough
Breathing at the top instead of the bottom

    Cue: shrug.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

These are fine strict presses. Aside from the last one which got a little ugly due to fatigue, there are only a few minor things to think about. You should work on staying tight throughout the movement and you probably touch the bar too low on your chest. That's about it. If your goal is to press as Rip has suggested by using the hips more, you are not doing that at all. What is your goal? You've seen this, correct?

Yes, my goal is to switch from the BBT2 press to the BBT3 one. I'll watch that video a few times and get back to you when I've filmed another set. Thanks.
