    Default new squat check and shoulder problem starting to flare up

    well everything was going fine and then one day i got this radiating pain in my left shoulder and down through my left arm once the weights got to 355...ne ways here is a couple of sets at that weight

    Pain radiating down the arm is not a good thing, but I don't see anything in your squat that would cause it. Of course, I cannot really see your arms, either.

    You need to go deeper by about 2 or 3 inches. You let the bar drift forward a little at the bottom, which is probably an artifact of you dropping the chest near the bottom instead of dropping your ass lower. Going deeper will probably necessitate a bit of a deload, which may also give your shoulders/neck a little chance to heal. Check out the sticky on filming form checks.

    thanks for the advice...did a 5% deload and sunk it too depth today...i think i was keeping the bar too high as it had a tendency to ride up to the traps during the set and I was having some wierd thing going on with my left arm here is the video of what was going on that i believe led to my arm pain..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3Wx_ymJnmk i really brought my hands in tight tonight and there was no pain whatsoever
