    Default Deadlift Form Check

    • starting strength seminar jume 2024
    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    My partner's deadlift. He has been working on setting his back, and staying out over the bar after it passes his knees. Any advice on how to fix this second part (staying out over the bar) would be greatly appreciated! Or on anything else that needs attention. Thanks!

    His stance is wide and his grip is wider yet. I recommend narrowing both. That double knee bend definitely needs to stop. Once the bar passes the knees, they should not bend again. A set of five where we can see his shoulders in relation to the bar a little better would help, too. Front oblique is fine, but more to the side than the front.
