Hello all! We have hired Chase Lindley for our head coach position in Oklahoma City. We are excited to see what Chase is going to bring to this community in developing a stronger city and a solid pool of new coaches. We have also found our first location in the South OKC/Westmoore area. If you are familiar with this area, we will be located right up the road from Westmoore highschool. We will see you all in May!
Only three Mondays left until we are open in OKC! Our open date of May 3rd is quickly approaching and we cannot wait for this gym to go live. If you're in the OKC area, we would like to meet you during our grand opening event - announced soon. If any locals have some free time, we would also accept any help over the next few weeks while equipment is getting unloaded and installed, food provided.
We are continuously providing updates on our build out progress through Facebook and Instagram. So go check those photos out and watch as we upgrade an ugly kickboxing gym into an immaculate Starting Strength Gym. We will also be working on some solid videos about our community and coaches that you all will hopefully enjoy over the coming weeks.

OKC NEWS
In an effort to provide our members with the most attentive coaching possible, we will be capping our sessions to 7 members only. This will allow each member to have their own platform, barbell, and weights that are allocated just for them. This is effective now.
With this change, we are now on a waiting list only for our MWF 12:00-1:30PM sessions!
On May 22nd at 10AM, we will have a mobile Dexa Scan unit onsite that will be open to the public. So stop by if you're in the area.
Client Spotlight: Jessica is a 31 y/o mom and local dental hygienist assistant. So why did she come to see us? Besides her boyfriend being the Starting Strength fan that encouraged her to try it, Jessica says she wanted to get stronger, get in better shape and eventually compete. She’s never done any type of sport or training so this is all a new experience for her entirely. She’s been with us about 2 months now and is no longer intimidated by lifting heavy weights and learning new things. She has recently surpassed 135lbs on her squat for working sets. We are excited to see her progress in the coming months.

Client spotlight:
At 56 years old, Art has put on a total of 23.6 lbs, 17.8 lbs of which were lean mass…in only 3 months time. He’s always been a “gym guy” but never had training or a good program to follow. He came to us not knowing what to expect so he’s been very inquisitive and closely tracking his progress. Art had a Dexa scan about 1 week after starting the program in May and again last week. Even he couldn’t believe the results. Art has been dedicated to giving the program time to work and following the advice of his coaches to put on mass and recover properly.
