Default Becoming a coach for the elderly!

    Hello guys!

I am a 25 year old university student studying biochemistry in Austria, and training has become a huge part of my life in the last few years. If I am being honest, I enjoy it so much that I have not missed a single session, even while being sick. This in combination with my parents growing older and older each year, I realized that I want them to become healthy again, as it would pain me to see them being unable to stand up without using their hands or even complete simple tasks because of age.

So I was thinking about becoming a coach for the elderly. I know that every one of you is opposed to PT or exercise science licenses, and even though I agree with it, it is not possible for me to become a starting strength coach, because of financial and logistical reasons.

I am not sure if this is ridiculous, but my question would be if you guys have any suggestion to start working towards that goal. I'd really like to help older people, but without any licenses it seems borderline impossible.

Greetings from Austria, hope you guys had a good start into the new year !

Over here, we start out by training people in the garage, and gradually build up experience and a clientele. But you may be operating under the Fourth Reich.
