My left knee has been bothering me for a couple of weeks. Often it feels better when I manage to sort out my squat form but today it didn't so I quit before it became a real problem. I hope it's just a glitch, but I've had a lot of those before so I'm not worried.

I did this differently from what I have done before, slow, deliberate, bodybuilding "feel the muscle" style. It's a lot harder.

Not really. But it's hurt less lately and if I'm extremely careful not to struggle at all, just use weights that feel very light and smooth (80kg x 3, 100kg x1 for example), I seem to be able to bench a bit. So far ...
I did 5 singles with 102.5kg (225 lbs) yesterday and my shoulder still feels OK. So maybe ...
