    Changes to training after the meet:

    Squat: my training percentages were too low this time around, and my speed sets were too easy. I worked up in weight afterward, but that only added 6-10 total reps. Will bump percentages to 56-67%. Also might squat more often on ME day, since I think I may have done better with two squats most weeks.

    Bench: not much to change here. Keep using dumbbells, keep getting huger benching muscles.

    Deadlift: I'm going to use deficit sumos, as they've had a huge effect on my conventional and sumo deadlift. Going to do them for speed instead of heavy because I think they work better that way. Lots of heavy hamstring and ab work. Might pull for ME less often. Still need to find the right balance of SQ/DL/GM on max effort day.

    Squat: 644/688/722 went well, only the third attempt was hard.
    Bench: 292/314/325 felt great, maybe had a little more in the tank.
    Deadlift: 540/584/617 only hard part was gripping the bar but I got all 3

    First time ever going 9/9 at a meet.
    Used a suit on sq/dl, went raw on bench



    Then I did the unsanctioned strongman show

    anderson squat: up to 950. very small ROM
    log bench lockout from pins: up to 382
    strict axle press: up to 210
    car DL: up to 200+weight of car.

    got second place here.

    Was fun.
