Out of curiosity, how long do you wait between those singles?

Those weren't singles, they were all in one set. I write my workouts as sets x reps.

    Squat: 392.5 lbs
I was inspired to test my max today. It was hard as hell, and it wasn't pretty, but I got the weight up. One of my goals for 2011 is to squat 500 lbs, and this makes it seem well within the realm of possibility.

    Bench press: 2x5, 1x6 @ 160 lbs
    This felt pretty difficult.

    Chinups: 8/4/4
I've been off the chinup wagon for a couple weeks. I was doing chinups daily, and I think I may have started with too many, because I was aggravating the hell out of my right biceps tendon. I started up again today. My right bicep felt okay, and I don't appear to have actually lost much of my chinup strength, which is good.

    Press: 2x5, 1x6 @ 110 lbs

    Deadlift: 1x10 @ 240 lbs
Switching back to conventional. Form wasn't terrible, but my back angle was sloppier than I would have liked. I'll be bumping up the weight next time, because this wasn't really a weight issue. I think I'll also be doing deadlifts beltless for the time being. It seems to distract more than it helps.

    The Bear: 5x5 @ 65 lbs
Weight was light, but it still kicked my ass. Completed the sets in 9:43. I wouldn't mind doing more barbell complexes and other conditioning type things more often.

    Bench Press: 2x5, 1x4 @ 162.5 lbs
I stalled today at the same weight as when I was doing 3x5. This program doesn't seem to be working very well for my bench press.

    Squat: 2x5, 1x8 @ 325 lbs
Todays squats were very satisfying, both in terms of form and in terms of weight moved.

    Chinups: 9/5/4
    No pain today.

I'm being hit with a bunch of overtime at work this week, and I'm starting Texas Method on saturday, so today and wednesday are official "do whatever the hell you want" days. Today I wanted to practice deadlifts and power cleans.

    Deadlift: 1x5 @ 275 lbs
Power Clean: worked up to 135, then did a bunch of singles and 1 triple.

I ended up with even more overtime than I expected, so I didn't accomplish a hell of a lot of lifting this week. Starting the Texas Method tomorrow. I plan on squatting 315 and benching 150 for 5x5, and deadlifting 270 for a set of 5.

    Volume Day (12/4/10)
    Squat: 5x5 @ 315 lbs
    Bench Press: 5x5 @ 150 lbs
    Deadlift: 1x5 @ 270 lbs

This went swimmingly. I was worried I may have started too high, but I think these weights will work out fine for a starting point.

    Recovery Day (12/6/10)
    Squat: 2x5 @ 252.5 lbs
    Press: 3x5 @ 95 lbs
    Chinups: 9/4/2

This was a nice birthday workout. I'm glad it was a light day, as Saturday's workout left me with more soreness than I've experienced in a long time.
