I woke up at 186.2, but weighed in at 12:45 at 184.9. At 2:45 I weighed in at 194.5 for nearly a 10 pound gain. Woke up at 186.0 yesterday morning, haha.
Is your eating contest just who gains the most weight over some time span of the day?

There is something about beating your dad at something that brings you into the world. It is also hilarious to see the look in their eyes when they think they have dad beat and then they lose.

That is some impressive water manipulation to win the contest. :-)

Yeah, it's basically just a weigh in before and after lunch, but we started eating kind of late, so I had time for some waxy maize and tons of tea with gobs of honey, also twizzlers. Yeah, my son was so confident that he was going to win, because he ate so much, hahahaha. The look when I stepped on the scale was priceless. I explained to him later that eating a bunch of turkey really didn't help him.

Thanks, but it was an awful feeling. I think we both agreed not to do this next year.....but we will see lol

Yeah, Reynolds is the master, and he taught me a thing or two :-)

    Thanks teach :-)

    Transmutation Week 1, Day 1

I forget how humbling the first day back from a deload is. Thought I would just breeze through this at top percentages, but it was not that easy. Took 2 hours.

    Deadlift
    135x10
    225x5
    315x2
    405x1
    485x1
    445x3x4
    455x2

    Pause Squat
    45x5
    135x3
    225x3
    315x1
    325x3x4 RPE 8

Pauses were about 2 seconds on the squats. Each set was easier than the last for some reason. Depth was best on the 3rd set:

I'm not sure if my work schedule will allow time for accessory and conditioning today.

Okay, I had time after all. Really glad I did. It was pretty nice outside today.

    2pm session at home.

    Accessory
    Pullups 3x8
    Ab Wheel from Knees 3x10
    DB Swings 3x12 w/50
    Banded TKE 3x15

    Prowler
100’ x 6 in 5:04, low handles down, high handles back up. I might start adding weight to these. It's still pretty tough though, since it's in the grass and a slight incline. I'm spending less time in the fetal position though..

The bench emphasis continues during transmutation.

    Transmutation Week 1, Day 2

    ME Bench

    Close Grip Bench with Chains
    77 pounds of chain.
    45x10 (122)
    95x5 (172)
    135x4 (212)
    185x2 (262)
    225x1 (302)
235x1 (312) too much, lifted my butt
    195x3x2 (272)
    205x3 (282)

    2 Board Bench
    225x3
    275x3x4 RPE 8

I got rid of the wrist wraps for my last set of the 2 board. Sometimes I think they are just more of a distraction, because it felt a lot better. I was also surprised at how hard the 2 board bench was. I was expecting to do triples closer to 300. I suppose I'm not used to the shorter ROM. It got easier as I went though.
