Wasn't as sore as I thought, but that was the designs of a good coach.
Starting my 3rd week at Starting Strength Tulsa with Darin and Andrew. I'm training Tuesdays and Thursdays, and it is decided I will Power Clean on Thursdays. Just went through the initial progression with Darin last week.
Today:
Squat 255x5x2 - stopped at the 2nd set, since I was only hitting depth by relaxing my lumbar at the bottom - dropped to 225 and did a double properly
Press 95x5x3 - super easy (yawn)
Deadlift 285x5 - sticking with mixed grip and wearing a belt, so this was easy too
Honestly I probably injured my back in years past by relaxing at the bottom sometimes, so I appreciate Andrew forcing me back to 225 to build a good foundation and engrain good habits going forward.
Thursday the plan is:
Squat 225x5x3
Bench 155x5x3
PowerClean ??
