Deadlift - warmed up to 495 and then shut it down because I'm sick and 495 felt like 600 today. Hopefully I'll be able to pull something heavy later this week. I have to pull heavy this week, even if it means taking a deload week on squats.
Congrats on the press PR and sorry to hear about your pulling woes...it will pass.
Thanks. At least squats are going well. I'm sure my pull has not gotten any weaker. I just can't demonstrate my strength right now due to hamstring, illness, etc. Hopefully Thursday.
7/18 FINALLY
Deadlift up to 545x4 (tied my 4 rep PR from 6/12 earlier on this training cycle. Since I haven't pulled since 6/25 due to a hamstring pull, and since I was running 101 fever from Sunday night until yesterday morning, I was ecstatic with this performance today. Good shot I could have grinded out 1 more rep. The weight didn't move quite as easily as it did last month, but I will be right back where I was by my next workout. Decided not to try 585x2 today because, well, I hadn't pulled in nearly a month and didn't want anything THAT heavy.)

Solid lifting. I use to arm wrestle some but I have seen too many people completely wreck their shoulders while armwrestling all wasted. Sounds like you had a good time though, nothing like owning people that are bigger than you.
