    Deadlift 535x5 (PR for 5 reps and a joke. Could have easily hit 7.)
    Sumo deadlift 225x5, 315x5, 405x5, 505x5 (PR for 5 reps and a joke. Could have hit 7.)
    Ab pulldowns 3x15

    --Spectacular day. Last time I pulled 5's from the ground (on 8/21/12, so about 3 months ago), I hit 530x5 for an absolute grinder. Today's pull was stupid easy. Apparently my last training cycle of deficit deads alternated weekly with speed pulls from the ground worked very well and translated immediately into a bigger deadlift off the ground. Even though I was tempted to keep going for more reps with 535 after the 5th, I made myself shut it down. I have 9 weeks until the meet and there's no point in blowing my load on a lift. I'm just going to do what's scheduled. I think 650+ on the deadlift at 198 could go.

    Also, my new training partner kicks ass. He hit 520x4 today for a PR, and it was easier than the 500x4 he hit 2 weeks ago. I finally have someone close to my strength with similar goals and who's also tough as hell, and it's great.

    Holy crap. Good shit man. 650 at 198 would be absolutely ridiculous. Like powerlifting girl said, be sure to tape it.

    I'm sure you've mentioned it, but what meet are you doing?

    706 is the all time raw record. I'm thinking you could get there. Keep killing it bromontana.

    Dana, I've enlisted my sister as the videographer. She took vids for me at my last meet in May. Hopefully she won't back out. It will be the SPF TN state meet on 2/2/13.

    Jordan, is 706 the all time full meet raw record? I know George Herring has pulled more raw at 198 (like 750ish), but that was in a deadlift only meet. At any rate, I think 700 would be very difficult for me to ever achieve without chemical assistance, which I don't plan on. That said, I'll take it as heavy as I can naturally over the next few years and see where I end up.

    Full meet USAPL American Record all-time. I'm sure there's others pulling more in DL only meets and untested meets, but USAPL is pretty safe bet that the lifters were at least clean at the time of the lift lol.

    --Good day. A hell of a lot more work than it looks like on paper. Wanted to puke after the 365x10 set.
