Thanks, Mac. I will try to remember to get some video the next couple of times when I go for singles.

    3/12
Speed deadlift 345+150 band tension 8x2
    Box jumps 15 singles
    Bench 310x3,3; 235x10,10

--Pulls and jumps felt good. Bench was rough. I had to bench today because I can't make it back to the gym this week until Friday. My bench is definitely feeling the effects of my 10 lbs weight loss since the meet. My other lifts seem unaffected.

This is how I always am as well. I have never heard a good explanation for why this happens, but weight loss killing your bench seems to be a truism.

Nice deficit dead. When ever I lose weight my bench is always the first thing that goes also. When I was bodybuilding the only lift that seemed to maintain it's strength when I cut was my deadlift.

    3/15
Squat 455x4 (PR, last rep was an RPE of 11 lol)
    Back off squat 255x5,5,5
    Ab pulldowns 3x20

--So...am sick again. Have been sick now for about 3 out of the last 4 weeks. I felt rough today. The last rep at 455 was the ugliest, slowest GM of a squat I've ever done, and that's saying a lot. 99.9999999% of people either lack the mental toughness or the back strength to finish off a rep like that. We took the back off sets very light today because we were all having sub par performances. Felt like time for a little deload, so we deloaded the back off sets. This is pretty much the only kind of deload I'm agreeable to. All in all, I'm happy to scrape through this workout with a bullshit PR to boot.

    3/19
4" deficit deadlift 600x1 (10 lb PR, hard, had maybe 5 lbs in the tank, but I'm happy with it)

    Sumo deadlift 135x5, 225x5, 315x5, 405x5, 535x3 (10 lb PR triple, 2 reps left in tank)

    Planks 3x1minute

--Pretty solid day. Still sick and dragging ass. My buddy took video of my deadlift. Hopefully that will surface shortly.

Sick man. I forgot how fucking more challenging deficits are. New found appreciation. 600 is ridiculous.

4" must have been touching your shoes.
