    I guess he is. He seems to think he's going to catch me in a matter of months. Then when it doesn't happen he always gets discouraged. I told him he needs a 5 year plan, not a 3 month plan lol.

    --Pretty good day. Squat volume was decent. Only weighing 197-98ish in the mornings

    Sumo deadlift 135x5, 225x5, 315x5, 405x5, 545x3 (PR, RPE 10, nothing left)
    Ab pulldowns 3x20

    --Very solid first day of this new deadlift training cycle.

    I swear, I always have a hard time wrapping my head around the deadlift work you do. That said, I am actually surprised 545 was a 5rep PR for you.

    Dana, for some of us deadlift reps get progressively harder, and we aren't able to pull 10 lbs under our max for a set of 5 lol.
