You don't like the hamster wheel either? I wasn't too fond of the one called ballet. But in this case, you have control. There is no way I'd stick around in the gym more than two hours at a time, except at a meet.

Sorry you wasted that time. Glad you're getting back on track. I love squatting in wraps though. I hated it at first.
i'm glad you've decided to limit your strength. it will cut down on the time it takes for me to out total you.
I don't think it's about liking or hating them- just about what you consider raw. I'm with Kyle- if the equipment is literally doing some of the work, I don't consider it raw either.
I feel you Kyle. I go through the same stretches. I went through about a 6 month period where I was basically just spinning my wheels on bench. Once you reach a certain point the gains are really slow to come, that's for sure man. Mixing it up is good, but you were still making progress with what you were doing. I agree going back to that is a good idea. I wouldn't change again until the progress stops.
Get your head right man. Stop narvaezing your lifts.
Double post. Fucking phone.
LOL gj dana.
in all seriousness, you seem like the type of person who knows exactly how far you're willing to go and i think those self-imposed restrictions will stop you well before your genetics ever do. not necessarily a bad thing. in the end, powerlifting is just a weirdo fringe sport without any money in it. everyone has to seriously consider how much they will actually let it matter in their lives. i think you've got all that stuff under control. better than me at least.
GL with the OG kyle routine
I know what you mean. There's no money in powerlifting, and I have other things I want to be good at. I'll always train to be strong until I can't train anymore; there's just a lot of stuff I'm not willing to do to increase my total, such as: train more than 4-5 hrs/week, take drugs, or do a serious diet.
I've been thinking about growing the hair back out; but, at the end of the day, I don't like having chick hair.
I'm just deloading this week before I go back on my own programming next week. The only days I'll be in the gym this week are today and Thursday. Today I did:
Deadlift 225 5x5
Bench 135 5x5
Pullups 5x10
