I used to do a lot of deficits for strongman. Back in the day I actually pulled 600 from a 4" deficit with a max deadlift of 610. I can currently pull 610 from 2" (this lift was done just several months ago) and my max from the floor on the same stiff barbell is probably 635.
8/19 (Hamstring rehab)
Squat 315x15 (EZ, 20-25 would have been no problem, guess i'm a rep whore on squats)
Deadlift 225x10 (these hurt)
Planks bw+90 lbs on back 2x30 sec
Ab pulldowns 2x20
--Might be doing a meet on 10/12. Will decide in another week or two based on my hamstring. Might compete as a light 220 and try for 1600.
I looked at that meet, but the drive is 10 hrs. I wish it were closer because the timing would be better. The one I'm considering is in Lexington, KY.
It's only 7 hours to Springfield, MO. We could both shave and be twins.
I would still be much taller. Plus Lexington is only 3 hrs. It's all speculation at this point. I'm not healthy right now.

Paused bench - went up in 10 lb jumps until I missed a weight.
Floor press 4x5
Pullups 2x12
Shrugs 3x10
Press 3x5
--Decided to do a Wendleresque log post today. Hell, half the logs at EFS read like this.
I hope I'm not the only one who finds the lack of information (numbers lifted) in the EFS logs to be a complete fucking joke. I quite reading the logs with the rare stop in Scott Yard's log because off it.
