Those were my thoughts exactly when I switched from those rubber covered TKE plates at the Globo gym to my iron plates at home. I went back the other day, and shit felt light again.

Yeah, Steve. I went back to the Y today because they were working on the new warehouse, and everything felt light again.

    7/18
Squat 500x1 (RPE 8.5), 460x3,3,3,3 (RPE 8,8.5,9.5,8.5) - 3rd set was an aberration because some jackass walked in front of me to grab a plate and messed up my concentration. I lost it after I racked the bar. Motherfucker had 8 min to grab a plate before my set, and would have needed to wait about 8 sec for me to rack it. He'll know next time.

    Sumo deadlift 465 3x3

    Ab pulldowns 3x20

    7/21 3rd week of transmutation

    Bench (paused) 340x1 (RPE 9), (Not paused) 315x2,2 (RPE 8,8); 320x2 (RPE 8), (paused) 320x2 (RPE 9)

    Close grip bench 300 2x3

--Pec felt much better today. I think benching only once last week helped. Pretty solid day.

    7/22

Deadlift 615x1 (RPE 9), 570x2,2,2 (RPE 8.5, 9, 10 (straps on last set only and lost some power))

    2 sec beltless pause squat 415 2x2

    ab pulldown 3x20

--Good day. Weights definitely feel a little lighter at the Y. Almost sure I could have doubled 615, but it would have been a grind. All things considered, I felt strong for this point in a training cycle. My back was bothering me from bench yesterday. Not sure I'm going to keep benching the day before pulls. Might reverse the order, the way I used to do it.

I wish, Jordan. Don't think my bionic shoulder would hold up, though.

Thanks, Mac. I've seen you setting some PRs, too.

    7/24

    Squat 510x1 (RPE 9), 475x2,2,2,2 (RPE 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5)

    Sumo deadlift 495 2x2 (RPE 7,8)

    1 min plank x 2

--Happy to squat as well as I did today with a back that felt like hell from pulls Tuesday. Definitely the most times I've squatted 475+ in a workout.

Workout above was on 7/25. Not sure what I was thinking.

    7/29 DELOAD

    Bench 225 3x5
    Pullups 2x12

--Going with the patented KMask deload this week, not with what the program in PPST assigns. My back is still a little painful so I'm not touching a deadlift this week and won't mess with anything over 315 on squats Friday. Will only train twice this week, as I can tell that I'm quite beat up.

Ah, the deload after transmutation...always welcomed!

And you know I've always been a fan of your deloads :-)
