Keep up the good work Kyle, you are making some nice progress. Great to see you are able to pull regular deadlifts with 315 again and I hope the recovery continues along smoothly.

I thought it was a bit crazy, but you could see the swelling in your knee even from the tiny instagram video. You're a savage for putting in the work you are right now.

I'm not big on motivational things and I'm sure you're not either. But love seeing you put on the proverbial hard hat and get after it by any means necessary.

Thanks, guys.
Yesterday I did some stationary bike riding and leg pressed 3 plates per side for 3x10. As Cody said, the knee is pretty swollen, and it's even worse after a weekend of walking around St. Louis. I might have to take today's planned pulls/leg work easy or totally off. Frankly, I'm not sure whether the amount of pain/swelling I have is normal at 3.5 months after surgery. To say I'm getting discouraged is an understatement. My ortho says everything's fine, but of course he's going to say that.
I had been trying to use Dan Green as a barometer for my own progress. He had a quad tendon repair a little over 2 months before mine. There are some salient differences, however. He had a 75% tear that wasn't the result of an acute injury. I had a nearly 100% tear caused by a traumatic event, so I had a hell of a lot more swelling to begin with. I couldn't walk myself to the operating table like he could. Plus, he's a lot stronger than I am and takes much better care of himself...
