Presses gave me trouble today, but ok overall.

    Bench Press
    350x5 - matches PR
Notes: Though I didn't feel like I had my best stuff today, this was better than I remember it the previous time I did 350x5. Plan on 353x5 next Monday.

    Vid from Double Meat angle:

One thing that's interesting about this view is that is shows asymmetries, and the uneven position at the bottom is apparent here. The first rep is good, but it gets progressively more uneven at the bottom after that. I'll have to work on that, I could feel something wonky during my sets but couldn't put a finger on it. I suspect this is the culprit.

    Press
    201x5, 206x5, 211x5x2, 206x5
    Notes
: So last week I mis-counted the kilo/lb combo of plates and instead of the average rep weight being 197.6 and the heaviest set being 206x5, it was 204.6 and 217x5 respectively. I decided to just run with that higher intensity than planned workout of last week, and add a bit. So today's average rep was 207, but the heaviest was only 211. I expected it to be hard, but not as hard as it was. The 5th rep got hard already on set 1, and really slowed down a lot for sets 2-4. Set 5 was better. I also had to rest a lot, for presses. 5-7 minutes, whereas usually 4-5 is sufficient for me.

    BW Chins
    11,11,11
Notes: Adding reps but don't feel like I'm getting my chin mojo back. Still, I'll start adding weight to next Monday's chins. Probably begin with 20lbs and work my way back up.

    BW Rows
    10,10,10

    Tris - Cable V Pushdowns
    72.5 (the entire stack) x 15, 13

    Cable Shoulder External Rotations
    7.5x15x2

    Shoulder capsule stretch

I'm not sure I see what you mean by an uneven position at the bottom. Do you mean the bar path moves to your left?

Look at my arms and the bar. I am tentative about my left shoulder, so bring the bar down slower on that side. Thus, it comes down faster and ends up lower on the right - as you can see by looking at my arms at the very bottom of the rep where the bar touches my chest. My arms are uneven, the bar is uneven, and it's not doing me any favors.

Oh yeah, I did see that in the descent, and now I see it in the bottom.

Interesting. I'll have to have a look at my balls on video too. For bar path reasons obviously.

    Squat
    450x5x3 - PR for 3x5
    Notes:
Not a very locked in day. Had trouble staying tight and avoiding knee slide. On the other hand, happy to get a 3x5 PR on a day when I didn't have my best stuff. This was a new 5RM about 5 months ago, always good to see those become numbers done for volume.

    Power Clean
    45x6, 89x3, 133x3, 160x3, 184x3, 206x1+1, 228x1+1x2
    Clean Pull
    265x2, 292x2x2
Notes: Didn't feel very strong here today, and technique wasn't great. I was starting the jump too early.

    Sled Push
    20kg x 1
    30kg x 8
Notes: Kept rest down to 65-70s today. Was pretty gassed by the end. I'm out of shape.

That's awesome Wolf. Not the technique, but the work. Sounds like the other folks at the gym were having a grand time.

I can laugh at myself, it's fine.
