After some consideration, decided to to a full Intensity Day today. Though my back felt horrible on Tuesday, it felt fine pretty much every day since and today, so progressed my doubles as if it were a normal week.
Squat
45x5x2, 135x5, 225x3, 315x2, 375x1, 435x1, 480x2x3
Notes: Not perfect with the knees but a lot better than last week. Need to recapture the glory that was the 470 week. And yes, that's a lot of warm-up sets but I dislike jumping from 315 to 405, and even if I did, I wouldn't want to then jump from 405 to 480. I'm ok with this, but might experiment with beginning higher than 135. I've done it before, but never higher than 155.
Press
45x5, 95x5, 135x3, 165x1, 195x1, 220x5, 235x1x2
Notes: 220 was hard, but it was redemption from last week. Lateral elbow area was just the slightest bit irritated by squats but didn't end up getting in the way of presses. The reps at 235 were pretty hard. Nick D, I'm seriously jealous that you can do 225x5x3. I barely made 220x5.
Power Clean
135x3, 160x3, 185x3, 205x3, 225x2
Notes: Remembered my band-aid and athletic tape to cover my scab, but at 225 I felt I was about to open it up so I didn't do the third rep and just called it. I think this was the right move. With rack pulls Monday, it should be healed by next Friday and I won't have to worry about it anymore. As it is right now, I open it every week, it bleeds a lot, and it prevents me from focusing on my first pull.
