    I came. I saw. I pressed.

    Press - belt+wraps
    267.5x1 @8
    280x1 @ 9 - PR
    290x1 @9.9 - PR
    250x6 @9 - PR
Notes: Today, ladies and gents; today, I finally beat Wolf's Disease. Still had some delt and tricep fatigue, just enough that I questioned whether to try this today or put it off and try Friday. But warm-ups felt good so more or less stuck with my plan. 280 was FAST, I didn't get as good an initial push on 290, but it was enough to lock it out. 250x5 afterwards turned into 250x6 when I was so jazzed up from having done 290 that it just felt light.

With a full taper, and a little luck, maybe I'd have had 300. But I was trying to peak bench and press simultaneously (bench PR attempt coming Monday), which means I had to sacrifice slightly on a perfect taper for each one. But I'm super stoked about 290. This is right where I feel I should be, after getting up to where I could've done 275 in Fall 2015 but not getting to do it before tearing my shoulder up.
290 is juuuuust fine for now.

    Bench Press
    375x2, 405x1 @8, 375x2, 355x2
Notes: Nice and easy, just wanted to handle some weight without getting fatigued, to get ready for Monday. Goal is 455-465.

    Chins
    BWx5x8 - felt great

You sure it's curls that you're chasing and not, ah, The Pump?

Thanks all! Pretty happy about it myself. Considering that, with a necessary lighter period after this big push, and then some minor procedures and their recovery, I probably won't be able to PR again till the fall, I'm happy to have had a great full upper body cycle. Let's see if I can knock out 455-465 bench on Monday!

Thank you sir. Glad one person there appreciated it, anyway. The strength cycle has caught some fire lately, I must say. It's always sold out, but usually did so mostly because of non-members who wanted to come get SS Coaching. Lately more members are getting interested. A lot is probably Kenny's influence, or maybe they're realizing, hmmmm, this guy can press 75 lbs more than I can clean and jerk, maybe I need to get stronger???
