Great news! Did you consider that perhaps the alcohol helped the back? I will volunteer to investigate this effect upon my next injury..

That's a really good idea, Walter. I think we should set up a dual case study, you and I. We can isolate the variable - is it the beer or the bourbon that has the salutary effect on the injury, or is the combination of both more powerful than either alone - and then publish our results in an article on SS.com.

You need a scotch variable. Single malt, of course. I volunteer.

This will be acceptable, Steve. Let me know when you're ready to begin experimenting.

Caught a big pump today, brah. Could barely wash my face and hair in the shower afterwards. Seriously.

    Press
    222x5 - PR
    Notes:
This is a 0.5lb PR for 5 reps, but a PR is a PR is a PR. 225x5 next week will be legit.

    Bench Press
    312.5x5x5
    Notes:
My last set was once again the strongest one. This indicates to me I need to get my head in the game better on earlier sets.

    Lat Pulldowns (pull-up grip)
    210x10,10,12
Notes: Used a little lean back on the last set to get 12 reps.

    Cable Rows
    160x12, 180x10
Notes: Eh. Want to go back to DBs. I think my back will be ready to do so next week.

    Bro Work
Tris: Standing OH EZ Curl Tricep Extensions - Bar+80x13, Bar+85x13
Bis: Alt DB Bicep Curls - 55x8, 50x8
