Stroup! I know I know! But I don't feel like having another expense here so screw having internet I'll mooch when I can hah.
My scooter's left brake lever broke so I have been forced to ride the bicycle everyday. It's hurting my presses and squats, as far as going after my normal volume, combined with diet. So today I decided to hit some heavy doubles/singles on press.
Pressed: 165x5, 175x2, 185x1, 190x1, 195x1, 135x3, 155x3, 175x3
Was happy about that. Not peaked or anything so definitely more in there.

Starting to halfway get my full snatch technique going heh. Exciting stuff. I think this beats my previous power snatch PR I had weighing around 215. Sweet.
Afterwards benched 245x5x4, then 245x3x4.
Pretty sure that's a volume PR. These reps were all solid, clean reps. Time to get the press moving. I realized that my press and bench take turns. When I'm hitting big bench volume my press (as expected) tanks, then eventually my bench tanks and my press starts doing well. So probably will have a few more good bench days then start making more progress on the press.
It's cool, I have been pretty excited about training the past few days. Can't wait to squat on Monday.
Btw I put my gear up on craigslist here and all the rogue stuff sold in about 3 days haha.

But today I was in the ocean and thought about lifting in the water like Alexeev did in the river. Now that my stuff is gone I have no chance of doing that lol.
Starting deload-but-not-really-a-deload week next week. Just working up to heavy stuff and keeping the volume minimal.
Today I did bench triples 3x3... 255, 265, 275.
275 was a solid double and ugly triple, still counts though. Just came loose on the last rep and it got all goofy with the bar path. I'm pretty happy with that considering I'm reaching underwear model status. Looking back, August 2012 I was hitting paused benches around 265-275 at most. So to triple it weighing at least 10 lbs less is alright with me.
Keep this up and people are going to start screaming at you "your to skinny, just fucking eat!" They also may try to pull your PL card and give you a bro card! LOL
