Yeah, but it's still 560x2. Good stuff John!
True 'dat. You looked angry at that bar.
    Thanks, Guys.

    2/3

    Squat - 45x20, 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x3, 365x2, 405x8, 365x8
    P. Clean - 135x3, 185x2, 235x3x5

Pretty good session. Schedule is messed up this week because of the snow. I had to squeeze this in yesterday in between teaching and working at the PT office. Would have like to do another back-off set on squats if I had the time.

Here is a video of my top squat set with 405 and my last set of cleans with 235:

Damn 8s. I noticed your pause at #6. I do the same thing, and am usually saying to myself: "only two more. You can do that. Right? RIGHT?"

Thanks, Karl. On 8s I basically try to bang out the first four reps as quickly as I can, then 5 and 6, and rest a bit before the last two. No matter how you do them, they most definitely suck. Although I would be a very happy guy if I got my squat weight up anywhere near what you are doing for your sets of 8!

    2/4

    Press - 45x8, 95x5, 115x5, 135x3, 165x2, 192x8, 182x7, 172x6
    Chins - BWx11, 9, 8

Okay session. I had to squeeze this in between my afternoon and evening classes. Really happy with how 192 felt, but died quickly on the back-offs. I needed to take more rest.

David A did 8,6,7 on his presses and you do 8,7,6...I wish you did 8,6,7 so I could 5309 you too. Good volume there on the presses and chins. You must have healthy shoulders ; )

This really made me laugh. Having to squish in a training session when there's not enough time, and limiting rest between sets, is definitely a recipe for running out of gas. 192x8 is legit.

    Thanks, Wolf.

Here is a video of my 475x8 deadlift from Friday night. Best my 8s have felt in a while:

    2/9

    Squat - 45x20, 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x3, 365x1, 405x1, 440x5, 395x8
    P. Clean - 135x3, 185x2, 225x1, 245x2x6

Pretty good session today. Squeezed this in between my afternoon and evening classes in about 50min. The p. cleans felt like conditioning.

Do you think you could start writing your weights in kilograms so my brain can trick itself into not feeling so weak when I read your log? Greatly appreciated. I'm certain I'm not the only one who feels this way.

HA! I don't think my numbers are anything all that impressive, Adam, but I appreciate the kind words. Happy to see your lifting going so well again.

    2/11

    Presses felt really good tonight.
