John, you've been doing strong work up in here. Great progress since the seminar in September and since you started logging. It's a good thing my back is finally better because I have to watch my rearview mirror for you now, you're right on my tail
Ha, thanks for the kind words Wolf. Although I don't think you are in danger of me catching you just yet. I still have a long way to go, but the seminar and the log have definitely helped my progress the last few months.

    3/4

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 335x1, 385x1, 415x3
    P. Clean - 45x3, 135x3, 185x3, 215x3, 235x3x5

Good night tonight. Squats and cleans both felt very solid.

Wolf, he's being modest, watch out! He's gained about 7lbs too!

    3/7

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 345x1, 375x5x3
    Deadlift - 135x3, 185x3, 225x3 (all p. cleaned), 315x3, 365x2, 405x1, 435x1, 480x3

Today was a tough one. I felt worn out from my first set of squats. The work set of deadlifts with 480 were the ugliest pulls I have done in awhile. Next week will be better.

    3/8

    Press - 45x5x2, 95x5, 135x3, 155x2, 185x1, 205x3, 165x6, 6
    Chins - BWx15, 12, 11

Not a bad day. I had to train on a crappy bar today and it kept rolling in my hands a little while pressing. Overall I was happy with my set with 205 although my back-off sets were a little weak. Another week of training down. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

    3/11

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 355x1, 395x1, 420x3
    P. Clean - 135x3, 185x3, 215x3, 237.5x3x5

Good night tonight. Squats and cleans both felt very solid. The cleans were more explosive than they have been in a long time. Also, my girlfriend and I have officially registered for our next meet. We will be doing a RPS meet July 13th on Long Island. I registered as a 242. Right now I am weigh 226 so I have until July to gain about fifteen pounds.

Wow! Like a dang machine, John! Great lifting, I like the 'brevity of your routine of course and man it seems like it is working really nicely.

Can't wait until your meet, sounds like you have some serious eating ahead of you.

Make sure that by meet time, when herds of cows get wind of you coming their way, they stampede!

HA! Thanks for the kind words, Oldster. Hopefully things continue to go well.

    3/12

    Bench - 45x10x2, 135x5, 165x5, 195x3, 225x2, 255x1, 287.5x3, 230x9, 8
    Chins - BWx14, 12, 10, 6

Good day today. Did a few extra warm-ups on the bench and I think it definitely helped with the 287. Couldn't do weighted chins as scheduled because my gym's dip belt finally broke. I will have to bring my own for my press workout on Friday.
