I kinda feel like if you had in your mind that you had to do 5 or 6 reps with 465, or had someone yelling in your ear to do ONE MORE REP, that the last rep of that set would have been faster. But that's just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions. They are just like assholes. Everybody's got one.

Keep up the good work man.

Thanks, Dwayne. We will have to get together soon for a training session so you can yell at me. As a trade-off for yelling at me, I will let you give my three inch belt a try.

    6/3

    Press - 45x8x2, 95x5, 135x3, 185x1, 205x1, 225x4, 205x5x2
    Chins - BWx12, 11, 10

Pretty good day today. Video of 225x4 below:

As a trade off, can you also help me get some deadlift mojo back?

Thanks, Tom. I saw you smoke 175x8. I am sure you have a 225+ press in you.

I will see what I can do. Maybe one of these weekends we can set up a training session at the House of Kong if that is easier for you. Text me and let me know.

    6/5

    Squat - 45x15x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 275x5, 315x5, 375x5, 395x5, 415x5
    Deadlift - 135x5, 225x3, 315x2, 405x1, 495x1, 540x3, 495x5

    6/6

Airdyne Intervals - 8 rounds of 20/1:40, 30 minutes total

    6/7

    Bench - 45x15x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 275x2, 305x1, 337x1 (paused), 337x2, 307x5x2
    Chins - BWx5, BW+55x5x3

Mixed bag of training this weekend. I was disappointed to only pull 540x3. I should have definitely gotten it for four, but I was not really concentrating the way I need to when I am pulling and my form felt a little off so I left it at 3. On the positive side, bench felt good for the second week in a row.

I hope everyone had a good weekend.

HA! Thanks for the concern, Nick. Fortunately, today's training went better.

    Will do.

    6/8

    Squat - 45x15x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 365x2, 405x1, 455x1, 505x1, 455x3
    P. Clean - 135x1, 185x1, 225x1, 255x1x10

Much better session today than on Friday. Squats and cleans both felt better than they have in awhile. 505 is the most I have ever squatted in training and it moved pretty well (for me). I am pretty sure I could have doubled it. Video below:

Yep, nice and solid squats. You definitely had another in the tank.
